Two-day city immersion model

Standard rhythm: target 2–3 deep immersions per week nationally; each immersion = two consecutive days in one city / metro.

Pair with Travel rhythm model so volunteers and Kelly have sustainable pacing.

Purpose

Stack high-trust touches (clerks, leaders, students, homes, faith) without living in a car. Exit with named follow-ups, not just photos.

Day A — suggested flow

  • Morning: County Clerk / elections office touch (professional; confirm appointment). See County Clerk visit checklist.
  • Late morning: Coffee with 2–4 local leaders (rotate industries and communities).
  • Midday: Lunch with stakeholders (small business, labor, civic — per strategy).
  • Afternoon: Student or youth surface (campus, training, service partner) — coordinate Youth lane.
  • Afternoon alternate: Ribbon cutting or local business tour when on calendar.
  • Evening: Community event OR first home meet-and-greet.
  • Late: Fundraising reception or second small gather only if energy and compliance allow.

Day B — suggested flow

  • Morning: Faith community visit when scheduled (see Faith playbook) OR second-chance coffee for missed leaders.
  • Late morning: Second home gather or listening session.
  • Midday: Lunch with precinct captains-in-training or county party leadership.
  • Afternoon: Festival / fair walkthrough OR volunteer training block.
  • Early evening: 4–5 micro meet-and-greets are acceptable as split surrogate model if Kelly is single-tracked elsewhere.
  • Debrief: 20 minutes — what shifted, who owns follow-up.

Staffing pattern

  • Road lead owns clock and wayfinding.
  • Events owns host connectors and room readiness.
  • Social owns capture plan and same-day authentic post when approved.
  • P5 / VR owns signup table logic and relational debrief list.

What good looks like

  • Clerk visit moves state: contacted → scheduled → completed → thank-you logged.
  • At least two distinct neighborhood home touches OR one home + one high-quality listening session.
  • Student block ≠ throwaway photo — named advisor or student captain follows up.
