Social media coordinator — lane guide

Mission

Translate campaign priorities into repeatable digital behavior volunteers can emulate.

Weekly responsibilities

  1. Adapt HQ/State kits to local names and faces.
  2. Maintain cadence agreed by the triad (don’t spam; don’t ghost).
  3. Capture proof — screenshots, links, volunteer handles worth boosting.

Content pillars (rotate)

  • Values — why this race matters to families and communities.
  • Work — volunteers doing the work (with consent).
  • Learn — civic process education within guardrails set by HQ.
  • Invite — clear “DM to volunteer” pathway.

Guardrails

  • If you’re unsure whether a claim is accurate, don’t post — ask HQ.
  • Never punch down. De-escalate public threads; move disputes offline.

Metrics you own

  • Posts/reels/stories shipped vs plan (define “unit of work” locally).
  • Inbound volunteer inquiries.
  • Error/flag count (aim for zero).
