The one-hour week — how lanes budget time

This model assumes volunteers have busy lives. The campaign asks for focused throughput, not heroic overwork.

Baseline (per person)

Target ~60 minutes per week in defined tasks for your lane.

Example split by role

Events coordinator

  • 20 minutes: update run-of-show + assignments.
  • 25 minutes: partner/host outreach or attendee follow-ups.
  • 15 minutes: debrief note + next-week milestone.

Social coordinator

  • 20 minutes: localize kit + schedule posts.
  • 20 minutes: capture proof + uplift locals.
  • 20 minutes: inbox/DMs + escalate questions.

Power of 5 / relational coordinator

  • 15 minutes: training tip in huddle.
  • 35 minutes: relational touches or follow-ups (split across the week).
  • 10 minutes: list hygiene + next-week targets.

Team rule of three

Only one person must attend the weekly huddle — rotate intentionally so burnout doesn’t route through a single human.

If someone misses a week

  • Default: do not shame — reassign open tasks in the huddle.
  • If two consecutive misses: campaign coordinator checks in for capacity, not guilt.

Escalate time debt

If lanes repeatedly need >90 minutes weekly, the geography is probably too big — split the triad per fractal rules.
