Volunteer recruitment pitch & FAQ

Core invitation (keep this honest)

We’re not asking for a heroic amount of time. We’re asking you to pick a lane — events, social, or relational — spend about an hour a week, and help build teams that grow exponentially because the structure stays simple.

Role “micro-pitches”

Events

I’m looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together — coffees, trainings, partner rooms. You’d own a calendar that creates on-ramps for new volunteers.

Social

I need someone who can keep our local digital presence human — local faces, local places, clear asks — without getting dragged into endless arguments online.

Relational / Power of 5

This is for people who like real conversations. You’ll help volunteers talk to people they already know — and recruit new anchors responsibly.

FAQ

Do I have to be political online?

No. Social lane can be collaborative with volunteers who post from personal accounts with consent and coaching.

What if I can only help sometimes?

Pick one lane and protect a weekly hour. If life happens, we rotate coverage — but we don’t guilt people.

Do I need experience?

No. Coordinators get scripts, templates, and training. Experience helps; willingness matters more.

What if my area already has activists?

Great — we’re not competing. We’re offering a repeatable container so work scales.

Can two people share a lane temporarily?

Yes as a bridge, not as a permanent fog. Name a single DRI before day 14.

Call to action

Ask: “Which lane fits you best for the next 30 days — events, social, or relational?

Then schedule first task within 48 hours.
