Small-format gatherings — coffee, lunch, appetizers, clergy coffee

Extend the Events · hosting playbook with lighter formats that feed house parties and immersions.

Coffee meetup (60–75 min)

  • Purpose: relationship maintenance or recruiting one new connector.
  • Size: 3–8; public cafe or private porch.
  • Good: everyone leaves with one named next step.

Lunch meetings (45–90 min)

  • Purpose: stakeholders who won’t attend evenings.
  • Venue: quiet enough to hear; Events confirms AV if Kelly joins virtually.
  • Good: short agenda on paper; one person runs clock.

After-dinner appetizers (90 min)

  • Purpose: neighbors who want low speech social time.
  • Flow: food first; optional 10-minute framing after 40 minutes of mixing.
  • Good: host introduces Kelly once, not repeatedly.

Meet with clergy (often 30–45 min office visit)

  • Use Faith community visits playbook for protocol.
  • Bring leave-behind only if HQ approves; default is listening.

Schedule county clerk visits

  • See County Clerk visit checklist — professional, factual, gratitude for workload.

What good looks like

  • Every format ties to pipeline stages: identify → invite → confirm → attend → follow up.
  • Social has one dignified post per format when appropriate (not every private coffee).

KPI hooks

  • Track coffee / lunch / clergy touches in Events KPI grid (demo dashboard mirrors).
